- Q: How many can
you fit?
- A: The garden
seats a maximum of 150. The back room and garden
hold a maximum of 250 standing. The back room
can seat 45 maximum (and can be booked), the
front holds about 30 seated. There is plenty of
parking on the streets. Also there is a little
Japanese rock garden for smokers.

- Q: Is it under
cover outside?
- A: Yes, except
for the Japanese rock garden.

- Q: Is it warm
enough?
- A: Yes. We have
lots of outdoor gas heaters.

- Q: Is there
wheelchair access?
- A: Only for the
garden and the front room. Please call
us.

- Q: Is there a
room hire fee?
- A: No. Only for
Weddings on a Friday or Saturday.

- Q: Can I have
the whole back section for myself?
- A: It depends
on the size of your function. Best to ring and
ask us. As a rule over 100 should be fine but
smaller groups can usually have the garden to
themselves depending on the size.

- Q: Can I make
changes to the menus?
- A:
Absolutely.

- Q: Can I bring
my own wine and/or beer?
- A: No.

- Q: Can you do
cocktails.
- A: Absolutely.

- Q: Can I
decorate the area to suit my theme?
- A: Tsunami's
garden area looks very nice and you probably
don't need to decorate it any further, but we
can make some allowances for balloons etc and
other miscellaneous things upon request. But you
have to leave the place as you found it and no
nails or tacks please.

- Q: Can you get
the girls to dress up in kimonos?
- A: Yes (extra
charge).

- Q: Can I have
round tables instead of square?
- A. Yes (extra
charge).
Q: Can I bring
my own cake and/or desserts and you knock
something off the bill?
- A: We get this
quite a bit. Even if you bring your own cake etc
there's still storing it, cutting it up, serving
it onto plates, supplying forks and/or spoons,
taking it out to the table, collecting them and
everyone's favourite, washing up after. So we
can't do much about the price. But if you have a
cake and you want to blow out the candles etc
then we can accommodate that. Please call
us.

- Q: What time do
I have to be out by?
- A: 12 midnight
is the latest due to our liquor
license.

- Q: Can I have a
DJ and have music outside in the
garden?
- A: We used to
allow music in the garden but every time we did
that we would get many complaints from residents
and usually a visit from the police :-( But
dancing inside is fine and well catered for with
our house DJ (Jo 19) or your own if you have
one.

- Q: Can I get a
jazz band in to play?
- A: No problem.
We even have 2 of our own and can supply you
their numbers and you can make your own
arrangements with them. We are happy for you to
deal directly with them.

- Q: I'd like to
have a function but it's a bit small to book out
the whole back section. What can you
do?
- A: No problem.
Best option is to have just the garden area or,
if you really want the whole area, we can make
it just for you on a Sunday. Conditions apply.
(Naturally we won't do it for 11 people, but
we're still pretty flexible).

have some speeches after. Do you have PA
equipment?
- A:
Yes.

- Q: Can I pay by
cheque?
- A: No thank
you.

- Q: Can I pay by
credit card.
- A: Sure. Amex
and Diners have surcharges but Visa etc is
free.
