After an unforgettable visit last year, Chef Motokichi Yukimura is returning to Tsunami for a very special week of omurice, theatre, personality and Japanese hospitality.

Known around the world for his famous Kichi Kichi Omurice, Chef Motokichi brings more than just a dish. He brings energy, humour, skill and a dining experience that guests remember long after the final spoonful.

For 2026, there are two ways to experience Kichi Kichi at Tsunami.

VIP Omakase Sessions

Tuesday 17 November – Saturday 21 November

For five nights only, Chef Motokichi will host exclusive VIP Omakase sessions inside Tsunami’s intimate teppanyaki room.

These sessions are designed for guests who want a more personal, up-close experience with Chef Motokichi. With very limited seats available, you will be close to the action as he prepares each course and brings his unmistakable energy to the room.

This is the most intimate way to enjoy Kichi Kichi at Tsunami.

Couples, food lovers, food bloggers, if you visited Kyoto but couldn’t get in to his omurice bar, special occasions and guests who want the closest experience with Chef Motokichi.

Kichi Kichi Group Finale

For the final day of the tour, Kichi Kichi moves into the Tsunami Garden Area for a larger, more lively group session.

This is a fun and energetic shared dining experience, featuring Chef Motokichi’s famous omurice and signature performance in a more open, celebratory setting.

It is the perfect way to enjoy the final day of his return to Tsunami.
