TSUNAMI TEPPANYAKI

Our Teppanyaki Bar is a great way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion and is open Monday through to Sunday, with the following sitting options.
Monday & Tuesday: 5.00pm or 6:30pm.
Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday: 5.00pm or 6.15pm or 7:45pm.
Friday & Saturday: 5.00pm or 6:15pm or 7:45pm.
Omakase Degustation Menus are only available at the latest sitting, which is at 7:45pm and requires 24hr notice. Any changes (eg change from omakase to normal) must be emailed to bookings.tsunami@gmail.com (please do not ring). No Omakase on Monday and Tuesday.
For corporate bookings of 12-16 (all adults) please email functions.tsunami@gmail.com. For under 12 please use the normal booking process.
Terms & Conditions:
To secure your booking at Fuku teppanyaki on a weekend (Friday – Sunday) we require a $50 deposit per person. This will be credited back to your bill when you pay at the end of the night. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your booking time or do not show up (for any reason) it will be forfeited. Sadly due to the number of disingenuous reasons given for cancelling we have been forced to adopt a strict policy re this.
If we are able to find a replacement for your booking your deposit will be refunded, but please be advised this is difficult less than 24 hours from the seating time.
Unfortunately due to the massive number of no shows and very late cancellations we have had no choice but to implement this policy. We have no practical way to ascertain the truthfulness of cancellation claims especially regarding sickness. Examples of excuses not accepted are “4 of our party have come down with gastro”, “my children are sick”, “I couldn’t find a babysitter” etc.
If you wish to cancel please *use the link from the email you received after you made the booking*. This is the most secure and easiest way. If you cannot find it then please email bookings.tsunami@gmail.com (more than 24 hours before the seating). Please be advised. We can not accept a cancellation by phone call. Or by leaving a message on answering machine. ONLY return email.
If you order by 5pm you are entitled to the ‘early bird special’ of $10 off per person (children included). Please arrive 15 minutes early before your booking time to order your meal before going into the Teppanyaki room.**We will hold your slot for 15 minutes after your booking time. If you arrive later than 15 minutes, the Teppanyaki show will have already started, and you will need to wait for the next session to be seated (subject to availability).
Our restaurant only has 16 seats and is usually booked out on the weekends so we feel it is unfair for people to be denied seats when due to late cancellations there are empty seats on the night.
If you want to book out all of Fuku teppanyaki for a seating on a Friday or Saturday night we have a minimum spend of $1,800.00 which is payable in advance. The payment is non refundable for any reason unless we have 72 hours notice.
We understand if you are uncomfortable with these terms and conditions and do not agree to them. In this case may we suggest the following.
• Book next door at Tsunami restaurant and when you arrive ask if there is space in the teppanyaki restaurant. We will gladly shift your reservation to the teppanyaki bar.
• Book on a weekday night. There are pre auths only and the preauth amount is less.
• Book at Tsunami restaurant next door. Many dishes are the same.
Entertainment Book:
We accept the Entertainment Book in the Teppanyaki Bar.
Please note we are required to maintain a register for WA Health Department Contact Tracing. This is applicable to all Tsunami's customers, 16 years old and above. For ease of service, we would appreciate if you download the 'SafeWA' app, we will assist you with your registration upon arrival at our venue.
